The Lodge is an award winning Queenslander home, set in world heritage rainforest, just 1.5kms from the beach. Guest accommodation is separate to the main house, with verandah overlooking lush tropical gardens and a great swimming pool with waterfall feature. We serve the yummiest brekky in Queensland, and included in the price are complimentary drinks - tea, coffee, soft drinks and beer. How good is that !! We have a resident cassowary that visits the Lodge every day - so if you are desperate to see this magnificent but endangered bird, look no further.
We have a large guest lounge where there are loads of books, games, a TV, DVD player. If you wish to self-cater we have cooking facilities and a BBQ that can be used any time. For the energetic we have a couple of bikes and if you insist then have a go on our ride-on mower (about two hours should do the trick).
Almost all the tour operators (eg Barrier Reef, White Water Rafting etc..) all pick up and drop off at the Lodge for free. What more could you ask for ?? Please note that the Lodge is not suitable for children under the age of ten.

Queen size double room with full en-suite facilities. Nice big shower and lovely fluffy towels. The rate is for up to 2 people.
A single bed can be added to make it a twin room or a triple room. The extra adult is charged at $55.00 per day.

Location

Going south from Cairns, turn off the Bruce Highway at El Arish and head for Mission Beach. Turn right into Cassowary Drive, and Mission Circle is first on the right.
Travelling North, turn off for Mission Beach just after Tully. Stay on that road till you get to Mission Circle on the left (plenty of signs for the Lodge).

Children, Infants & Extra Persons

A single bed can be added to the room. Extra adults $45 per day, and a child (aged 10 to 17) is charged at $25 per day. The Lodge is NOT suitable for children under the age of ten. There is a Family room available, 2 adults and 2 kids at $180 per day, and 2 adults and 3 kids at $205 per day on request.

All parking is under cover beneath the guest accommodation and is free of charge
